Kyle is an alumn of Utah Valley University where he obtained a B.A. in political science with a focus in international relations where he taught classes for the ESL program. He is also an alumn of BYU where he earned a M.A in Linguistics where he also served as the chair for the Second Language Research Forum for 2013.

Kyle is now a PhD student at UGA with focuses in Sociolinguistics and Second Language Acquisition. He teaches LING 2100 - The Study of Language.
