Call for Papers

UGA Working Papers in Linguistics is an online, peer-reviewed journal published by the Linguistics Society at UGA. Though still in its early stages, the goal of this journal is to be a venue for quality, scholarly work in the field of linguistics, drawing readership from within and outside of UGA. We welcome submissions from all relevant disciplinary backgrounds approaching topics in Linguistics, including but not limited to:

  • Anthropological Linguistics
  • Applied Linguistics
  • Computational Linguistics
  • Morphology
  • Phonetics
  • Phonology
  • Discourse Analysis
  • Semantics
  • Pragmatics
  • Historical Linguistics
  • Language Acquisition
  • Language Documentation
  • Sociolinguistics
  • Syntax
  • Text/Corpus Linguistics

Submissions should adhere to the these style guidelines and should ideally be between 10 and 15 pages of body text. Contributors may submit electronic versions of their papers via email to lsuga.wp@outlook.com by August 31st 2020.
