Dr. Bryan Gick visited UGA to give a lecture on concatenation and coarticulation in embodied speech. Dr.

Dr. Hugo Mendez, a Linguistics Department alumnus, has joined the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Religion. He has been with the Department of Religion since 2015 as a Postdoctoral Fellow.

Dr. Rachel Nabulsi, a Linguistics Department alumna, has published her dissertation titled Death and Burial in Iron Age Israel, Aram, and Phonecia. You can find it at ISBN: 97814606406.
