Mayee Yeh

M.A. Student

Mayee (any pronouns) obtained a B.S. in Applied Psychology and Honors in Linguistics from New York University, where they studied variations of singular they interpretations. As an M.A. student, Mayee hopes to continue their research, integrating pragmatics, syntax, and anthropological methods to enrich their work; one project they're developing is how language proficiency and immigrant generation may influence third-person pronoun usage in English and Chinese. They are eager to explore more subfields and hope to apply their knowledge wherever their professional interests take them in the future.
