Publications: Handbook of Comparative and Historical Indo-European Linguistics

Handbook Cover

Congratulations to lead editor Prof. Jared Klein and editorial assistant Dr. Mark Wenthe on the publication (2017-2018) of the three-volume Handbook of Comparative and Historical Indo-European Linguistics, issued by De Gruyter Mouton.

From the publisher's website: "This book presents the most comprehensive coverage of the field of Indo-European Linguistics in a century, focusing on the entire Indo-European family and treating each major branch and most minor languages. The collaborative work of 120 scholars from 22 countries, Handbook of Comparative and Historical Indo-European Linguistics combines the exhaustive coverage of an encyclopedia with the in-depth treatment of individual monographic studies."

The handbook includes articles by UGA Linguistics faculty members Jared Klein and Keith Langston, as well as several UGA alumni: Martin Macak, Caley Smith, Andrew Byrd and Tony Yates.
