The Linguistics Society at the University of Georgia (LSUGA) is our graduate student organization.
As of 2014, LSUGA has begun hosting a yearly conference, the Linguistics Conference at UGA (LCUGA; [ləˈkʊgə]).
LCUGA4 was held October 6-8, 2017, and our focus this year was "Crossing Boundaries". Check out the LCUGA4 page for more information!
The organization also publishes conference proceedings and the UGA Working Papers in Linguistics and hosts a variety of other events throughout the year.
All papers presented at LCUGA are eligible for publication in our Conference Proceedings.
Our other publication, the peer-reviewed UGA Working Papers in Linguistics, highlights current research by linguistics graduate students and faculty.
We also organize monthly social events for our members. Follow us on Twitter @LingSocUGA to see what we're up to!
If you would like to join the society, or if you have any questions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
