Linguistics Lab

The Department of Linguistics has two laboratory spaces with a variety of equipment available to faculty and students for research. The main lab (120A Gilbert) has a sound-attenuated recording booth, 5 computer work stations (both Mac and PC), and a conference table and touch-screen video display. A smaller room (119 Gilbert, accessed from inside 120A) has 2 Macs and a PC with E-Prime software and a response box. This room is sound-proofed and can be used for recording more than one participant at a time. We also have two SMI mobile eye-tracking units and a variety of recorders and microphones that can be checked out for field work.

For more information, please see the Linguistics Lab website.
